The book of Judges 6:12 is where you will find Gideon who was chosen by God to lead Israel in battle against the Midianites. Gideon felt quite inadequate for this task and sought reassurance from God. God not only reassured him but won the battle in way that only God could do.
12 And the angel of Jehovah appeared unto him, and said unto him, Jehovah is with thee, thou mighty man of valor.
