One Of God's Trees

For the Lord has planted them like strong and graceful oaks for His own glory.” Isaiah 61:3NLT

Scripture says that a person who delights in the Lord, “are like trees planted along the riverbank, bearing fruit each without fail. Their leaves never wither, and in all they do, they prosper.” –psalm 1:3. This tree is a picture of the believer in Christ and the confidence that we should have in Him. This is the Father’s desire for you to walk this walk with boldness. To live life knowing that if God is for you who can be against you. What storm, challenge, heartbreak, set-back, what weapon on earth can form against you if God is with you.
So why are we able to bear fruit during a time of famine or have hope when all seems hopeless? Because Heaven’s Best dwells inside of you!
Jesus’ personal prayer for you: “My prayer for all of them is that they will be one, just as you and I are one, Father- that just as you are in Me and I am in You, so they will be in us, and the world will believe You sent me.” –john 17:21
To be God’s Tree is to be one that is in Christ who is in the Father which makes us one with Them, a brilliant display of God’s glory for the world to see.   I want you to see yourself as blessed no matter what your situation may be. Picture yourself as this tree deeply rooted in Christ and richly watered by His Holy Spirit as God’s Living Word unveils why you should walk this walk in Christ with boldness.
“But blessed are those who trust in the Lord and have made the Lord their hope and confidence. They are like trees planted along a riverbank, with roots that reach deep into the water . Such trees are not bothered by the heat or worried by long months of drought . Their leaves stay green, and they never stop producing fruit.” – jeremiah 17:7-8
This is a pic of you in Christ infused with the Holy SpiritYou are in Christ and in Christ you will never see decay. You're not dismayed by this world or the challenges you face because you’re a child of God a child of Hope, God Himself is on your side. Doors that should have been sealed shut are opened for you. The pain and suffering that should have destroyed you works out for your good and His glory. The impossible is possible for you.
In Christ, you are blessed. The world will fall away but you have eternity to look forward to, you are eternal. In a time of war and chaos, you will have peace because God fights for you. In a time of famine you will experience great abundance because God is your provider and King. While the world is suffering an economic and social drought you will be a bearer of much fruit because God has made you a minister of His truth and you have lives to save. Even as the storms in your life rages on and your world appears to be spiraling out of control your leaves will not wither, your fruit will not see decay.
When all seems dark, He will be the light that leads the way because He is your Father, you are His child. You will have joy and  prosper in the midst of it all because  You chose His Son, your hope even that mustard seed of hope, confidence and trust, you chose to plant it in Christ. That is what makes You  a child of God, one of God’s beloved trees planted in His Son, a brilliant work of art , in a world so dark, displayed for His glory.

The Blasphemy Challenge

"Some of the teens who seem most hostile toward God are the same ones who emphasize that they are rational thinkers," she says. "It seems odd to want to insult Someone who supposedly isn't there."

Pastor Howard J Hornbuckle (David a man that depended on God)

Listen to message

1 Samuel 17 Amplified Bible (AMP)

17 Now the Philistines gathered their armies for battle and were assembled at Socoh, which belongs to Judah, and encamped between Socoh and Azekah in Ephes-dammim.
Saul and the men of Israel were encamped in the Valley of Elah and drew up in battle array against the Philistines.
And the Philistines stood on a mountain on one side and Israel stood on a mountain on the other side, with the valley between them.
And a champion went out of the camp of the Philistines named Goliath of Gath, whose height was six cubits and a span [almost ten feet].
And he had a bronze helmet on his head and wore a coat of mail, and the coat weighed 5,000 shekels of bronze.
